Xiaochang Wang
Co-Editor in Chief of Journal of Water Process Engineering (Elsevier). His research field covers water/wastewater treatment, water reuse and resource recovery, especially through hybrid systems combining biological and physicochemical processes, and membrane technologies. He has over 550 publications indexed by Scopus, with total citation > 11000 and h-index = 51. In China, he held a number of national academic positions, such as member of the Disciplinary Evaluation Group of the State Council, and NSFC Expert Advisory Committee. Internationally, he is now serving the International Water Association (IWA) in the Board of Directors, IWA CoF Research Centre (Xi’an) as the Director, and the International Forum of Water Sustainability as the Chief Technology Officer. In 2019, he was appointed Honorary Professor, University of Exeter, and endorsed the qualification of Exceptional Talent through the recommendation of Royal Academy of Engineering, UK.
